Designed to feature 1,000 residences on completion, Zimbali Lakes Resort has been conceived as an exclusive family orientated residential and leisure development. A key feature of the development will be the Gary Player Signature Championship Golf Course and Driving Range - construction of which is due to commence in 2009.

Waterfront & Restaurants

The resort will include a waterfront recreational and restaurant node which is to be created along one section of an extensive lake, transforming the area and reinforcing Zimbali’s reputation as South Africa’s most desirable residential and recreational destinations.

Office Estate Component

There is a noted absence of high end, AAA Grade office space situated along the M4 highway and Ballito area. The newly launched Zimbali Office Estate addresses this shortage by creating a superb high end office park precinct offering quick and easy access to the residents of Zimbali Coastal Resort, Zimbali Lakes Resort and the surrounding areas. As a result, the joint venture partnership between Tongaat Hulett Developments and IFA Hotels & Resorts has brought to the market the first phase of the overall commercial opportunities for the region. The Zimbali Office Estate will yield a total of 15 sites (Office Park 1) within the first phase and will offer an overall development potential of 26,688 sqm of prime office space within this initial phase. Located adjacent to Office Park 1, the second phase (Office Park 2) will be brought on stream as soon as the first phase has been sold out.
